Groundwater Remediation
Discharges into the MWRA system for groundwater remediation activities are currently prohibited. The permit requires MWRA to conduct a review of its current prohibition and to consider the projected impacts to the MWRA collection and treatment system that might result from relaxation of the discharge prohibition. Changes proposed, if any, must then be posted on this website.
