We now have relaxing sunsets looking in the harbor,
With its calm water.
We have healthy fish swimming like dancers dancing.
Birds fly to the beach with their wings wide open,
ready for a snack not trash.
Tourists on boats looking at the history of the ocean.
Plants that once died are now swaying like palm trees.
People can have jobs as fisherman catching fish.
We can walk on sandy beaches instead of human waste.
We learn from mistakes.
We learned to keep our water the way it should be.
We walk home from the beaches with relaxation not pain from cuts.
Kids swim in water not sewage.
All the jokes about Boston Harbor all slowly faded.
This all happened because of MWRA and its workers.
We people, plants, and animals thank you!
We can now do these things that were once not good to do.
Those 4.1 billion green bucks were worth it.
And yes, this poem is as clear as the Boston Harbor.
