MWRA Executive Director Fred Laskey made a presentation, "The Forgotten Infrastructure," to public officials at the American Water Works Association's ACE'14 Conference and Expo today.

The presentation shows the history of the MWRA, its water and sewer systems, and highlights the importance of overall system maintenance for the protection of ratepayer assets and public health.

The four-day long Annual Conference and Exposition has brought thousands of water, wastewater and stormwater utility professionals from across the country to Boston, this year's host city.
