About this Project:
This project is design. Planned work includes the rehabilitation and replacement of water pipelines that supply water to Malden, Medford and Somerville and sewer pipelines that serve Medford and eight downstream communities:
- 8,000 feet of 48-inch steel water pipe for Northern Low Service Section Section 57;
- 12,000 feet of 20-inch cast iron water pipe for Northern High Service Section 50; and
- 11,000 feet of 51-inch x 54-inch and 56-inch x 61-inch brick sewer and 48-inch inverted siphon North Metropolitan Sewer Section 19/20/21.
