We are proud to once again provide our customers with this Annual Water Quality Report. In conjunction with the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), this report was compiled to provide you with information about the water that we provide.
The following are planned projects for 2004 that will enable the Town to provide the highest quality water service to our customers:
1. Replacement of water main on Franklin Street
2. Construction of water pump station located on Edmands Road
3. Activation of new water tank located in the Doeskin section of Town
4. Planning and design phase toward reactivation of Birch Road Well Field
5. Completion and implementation of the Town’s Water System Master Plan.Because the Town provides its own disinfection treatment of the water purchased from the MWRA, our results for levels of disinfection byproducts are different from the MWRA and are therefore reported here.
