Essay on Biologists at MWRA

Introduction
Biology is a very interesting subject, and an important job in our lives. People who study biology are called biologists. A biologist is someone who studies living organisms (all living things on Earth). Your average biologist would study any form of life, such as animals, bacteria, plants, and environments that each of these things live in. But biologists don’t study every form of life at MWRA, because it’s meant for water purifying and testing, not just for studying every form of life on Earth.

What Biologists do at MWRA
At MWRA, an average biologist strives to preserve our coastal and marine ecosystems, and gather data in the water near the ocean. This data provides critical information that assists the Deer Island Treatment Plant to continue to function effectively and keep the Boston Harbor clean.

Conclusion
In this project, it was very interesting to learn more about biologists in general, and more specifically, about MWRA biologists! It was interesting to find out all the biologist does at MWRA, and it was surprising how many things they do!
