My STEM Career
A STEM career is what I do
Inspecting, monitoring, and testing are just a few
of the jobs I do to get things done
so water will be useable for everyone.
Water is collected, measured, and tested.
But I make sure all my measurements are totally corrected!
When doing my job numbers mean a lot
because people need water that’s not going to stop.
Fresh water is pumped from wells, rivers, and streams
to our treatment plants and all of our teams.
Sometimes I use chemicals like ammonia and chlorine
to test all that water and make sure it is clean.
After the collection of water is complete
and the tests have been done so I just repeat.
Now that the work I've done here is good
the water is pumped to your neighborhood!
