Hydroelectric, Loring Road - In Weston, a new hydroelectric generator is being installed at the Loring Road covered storage facility, which will generate 1.2 million kilowatt hours per year. The generator is scheduled to arrive in mid-November. This $1.8 million project is fully funded through ARRA and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and will provide an annual savings in electrical costs of $150,000.
