Calling all community leaders: Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park is having a big anniversary this year in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park, and 50 years since the Boston Harbor Islands entered the State Park system.

To celebrate the anniversary year, the Boston Harbor Islands Partnership is reaching out to organizations across Boston about a community-curated programming opportunity. The Partnership will award micro-grants of up to $4,500 (Spanish version here) to community organizations to design, promote, and facilitate park-based programming that meets the unique needs of their constituents, plus cover water transportation to all islands for up to 100 tickets. These micro-grants seek to empower and invest community members, and amplify their impact, voices, and presence within our recreational spaces.The deadline to apply is March 15, 2022.
