The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority along with The City of Boston and the Town of Milton will be conducting a meter isolation trial. The work is scheduled for Thursday, February 11, 2021 and will start at approximately 9:00 AM.
The area that could possibly see discolored water is located within the Fairmont Hill Section of Hyde Park and Milton. Discolored water may be for a period of 24 - 48 hours.
The water services to homes will not be interrupted.
If discolored water does occur, please do not do laundry at this time, as it could stain light colored clothing. Residents should wait for the water to clear before using it. After the activation has been completed, you may want to run your COLD WATER ONLY at the kitchen faucet or outside spigot until the water clears.
