Among these essential workers are water professionals, who do the often-unseen work to provide communities with clean water, treat the water we use, and keep our water environment accessible. Water facilities are staffed 24/7, 365 days a year by a dedicated team of professionals to maintain service to their communities. Individuals and businesses regularly rely on clean water for a multitude of reasons, and now more than ever, access to clean water is critical for maintaining personal hygiene to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Today and every day, NEWEA thanks water professionals for their commitment to this essential work."
