In an effort to reduce groups of people from gathering, the Deer Island park will be temporarily closed to public access. MWRA appreciates your support and understanding as we all continue to work together to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The Deer Island public access area is open for all to enjoy. Due to overwhelming interest, parking will be allowed along the right side of the access road up to Gate 1 on weekends for the extent of this emergency. Please remember to practice social distancing during the spread of CoVid-19. Avoid large groups, keep at least six (6) feet from others not in your party and wash your hands thoroughly and frequently.
