Temporary Fencing and Signs for Pedestrian Safety at Chestnut Hill Dam on Wednesday, January 24

Update 01/24/2018 Work postponed due to high winds MWRA has postponed the crane operation for one day due to high winds. Work is planned to resume on Thursday, January 25. Fencing and signs be reninstalled and remain in place until the work is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience. Pedestrians and runners may notice temporary orange fencing and signs at both ends of the Chestnut Hill Dam on Wednesday, January 24. MWRA is installing the fencing and signs to ensure public safety while a large crane picks and moves steel plates from the parking area up and across the Dam crest to the gatehouse inlets. |
