MWRA will perform a scheduled water main repair at 147 Forest Street in Arlington on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. This work will require may cause temporary water discoloration in parts of Arlington.

If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in local pipes. Please note that iron will stain light colored items in your laundry, especially when bleach is used. Residents in these locations should check water clarity before washing any white or lighter colored laundry during this period of work.
