Today,Deer Island was the site of ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of Massachusetts Water Pollution Abatement Trust. State Treasurer Steven Grossman was joined by EPA Region 1 Administrator Curt Spalding, DEP Commissioner David Cash, Senator James Eldridge, Representative Carolyn Dykema, former Representative Emmet Hayes, and MWRA Executive Director Fred Laskey to commemorate the occasion.
