Throughout the month of June, Newton residents and visitors can brush up on their knowledge about drinking water while they catch up on their summer reading.

The Newton Free Libray's Main Hall display highlights the source, the treatment, the delivery and the steps taken by MWRA and the town to ensure excellent water quality.

The display, provided by MWRA, also recognizes Newton students who won the annual MWRA School Program Poster, Writing, and Video contests. This year's topic was "It's a Toilet, Not a Wastebasket!"

The Newton Free Library presents monthly exhibits by regional artists in the Gallery and Main Hall of the main library, a state-of-the-art facility which 11,000 people visit weekly.
