On Friday, November 5, 2010, the Greater Boston Labor Council presented MWRA Executive Director Fred Laskey with a 2010 Special Leadership Award at its 7th Annual “Salute to Municipal Officeholders.”

The MWRA workforce was well represented by members of all five collective bargaining units, including the presidents of each, who were on hand to help MWRA Board member Kevin Cotter present the award.

The Greater Boston Labor Council is a federation of 154 local unions and district councils.
