MWRA BIENNIAL REPORT REPORT OVERVIEW FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

The MWRA has released its Biennial Report for fiscal years 2007 and 2008.

Along with financial information, the report highlights MWRA's successful efforts to reduce its energy consumption, to trim operating costs and to minimize the environmental impacts of daily operations.

It also includes updates on the progress on projects that continue the remarkable recovery of Boston Harbor and its beaches, and projects to improve drinking water quality and reliability.

In keeping with its theme, "sustainAbility," the MWRA Biennial Report has been published on-line and only a limited number of hard copies has been printed. saving paper, saving energy, and saving money.
