On August 21, members of the MWRA Advisory Board, including water and sewer officials from 61 cities and towns, visited two major MWRA construction sites. MWRA Executive Director Frederick Laskey and staff led tours of new CSO facilities in South Boston and new covered drinking water storage at Blue Hills, Quincy. The MWRA Advisory Board was created by Legislature in 1984 and represents the interests of MWRA service area communities and ratepayers.
